Children’s Readiness in Digital Literacy Project in Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia

The Children’s Readiness in Digital Literacy Project in Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia, is an initiative designed to boost children’s digital literacy skills, especially in Early Childhood Education. This project is generously funded by the UCC Norwell Outreach Ministry. Its main aim is to support children’s readiness for digital literacy and bridge the technological gap in schools.

Working with the School Administration, the GrowHope Foundation provided educational materials for learning and engagement. This enabled children to develop basic technology literacy skills while learning. This initiative is vital in a context where access to digital resources is limited, and the digital divide is significant.

The project strives to enhance education quality and enrich the learning process by equipping children with the necessary tools and resources to navigate the digital world. By doing so, it aims to create a more equitable learning environment where all children have the opportunity to develop essential digital skills.

Recognizing the importance of this project, the GrowHope Foundation is seeking additional funding to further support and expand its efforts in improving the quality of education and enhancing the learning process for children in Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia.
