Margot Carleton
Acting Chair, Advisory Council
Margot Carleton is the Vice President of Information Technology at BAMSI, a large non-profit located in the Brockton, MA area. Prior to joining BAMSI, she spent 25 years working at Kendall/Tyco Healthcare/Covidien/Medtronic. She completed SIM’s Regional Leadership Forum in 2009 and is now a facilitator for this leadership program. She has volunteered at several non-profits and has been assisting GrowHope Foundation in forming the Advisory Council.
Randolph Ellis
Member, Advisory Council
Randolph Ellis retired after 23 years of service as a Financial Systems Manager at Hill Holliday. He later returned to the workforce as the Accounting Supervisor at Old Colony Elder Services in Brockton. He has served as Treasurer as well as a trustee of Central United Methodist Church for more than 15 years. He spends much of his weekend time volunteering to serve the homeless of the Brockton community participating in the Homeless Ministry of the Brockton United Methodist Church.
G. Arthur Johnson, Jr.
Member, Advisory Council
G. Arthur Johnson Jr. is a retired educator of the Boston Public Schools. He is a senior steward and member of the Official Board at the Historic Charles Street AME Church in Boston. He is a military veteran and was born in the Republic of Liberia, West Africa.
Eric Lutz
Member, Advisory Council
Eric Lutz is a lifelong resident of Brockton MA. He has raised his family of 4 children in Brockton and is a volunteer coach for youth basketball and Special Olympics. He is also an active member and Past-President of Rotary Club of Brockton. Eric is also President of MDCOM, a business technology provider for telephones, cameras, and card access solutions.
Peter Martin
Member, Advisory Council
Peter Martin is a financial advisor and former Division Financial Controller at Medtronic / Covidien. He has spent his entire financial career working in the medical products industry. Peter has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Bentley University. Peter is a member of the Financial Planning Association and since 2013 has been a supporter of GrowHope Foundation.
Christiana Odunze
Member, Advisory Council
Christiana Odunze is an RN and works for BAMSI a non-profit organization as Director of Healthcare Services. Christiana graduated from Nursing School Nigeria, a West African Country. Christiana believes in service to others which is why when she moved to the United States in 1998, it was easy for her to continue her career as a nurse. Christiana understands from firsthand experience the challenges facing public health in under developed countries. Christiana passionately believes that community education will help improve quality of life.
Elodia Garnett-Perry
Member, Advisory Council
Elodia Garnett-Perry has been a member of the Advisory Council for the GrowHope Foundation since 2015. She is a Conversions Operations Manager at Boston Financial Data Services, Inc. where she has worked for 30 years. Ms. Garnett-Perry is a proud native of Liberia, West Africa, has served as Treasurer for the Gethsemane Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Brockton, and is a member of their Executive Board. In addition, Ms. Garnett-Perry has served as President of the Alumni and Friends of Konola Academy’s New England Chapter.
Barbara Gordon
Member, Advisory Council
Barbara Gordon joined the GrowHope Foundation as Advisory Council member in 2015. She is a Registered Nurse and employed at BAMSI as the Senior Director of Health Care. Her community involvement includes volunteering as the Food Pantry Coordinator in her home town and the PTA. Barbara is married to her husband Joe of 19 years and resides on Cape Cod with their two daughters.
Richard Hooke
Member, Advisory Council
Richard Hooke has been an Advisory Council member of the GrowHope Foundation since 2015. He is the Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending at the Crescent Credit Union since 2005. Mr. Hooke has worked in the banking sector for the past 25 years, including Santander Bank and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He has three sons and three grandchildren.
Trent Sanders
Member, Advisory Council
Trent Sanders has been involved with the GrowHope Foundation since 2014 and was a driving force behind the rebranding of the organization. Mr. Sanders is an entrepreneur and co-founder of 36creative, a creative agency focused on strategy and functional production. He understands the value of brand design; strategy has been his passion. Mr. Sanders is a compassionate advocate for children and families, working tirelessly to improve the quality of life in the community.
Diane Shannon
Member, Advisory Council
Diane Shannon is a system–savvy Accounting and Finance Professional in the Greater Boston Area who is skilled at delivering business results. She is an ambitious individual who prides herself on excellence in solving problems and motivating teams to improve productivity and service. Diane’s experience has provided her with a deep appreciation as to how non-profits seek to improve the quality of life for the community we serve. She contributes her time and talent as a board member and enjoys volunteering at local non-profits in the community. Diane holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Management from the Stonehill College.
Youbide Jallah-Etienne
Member, Advisory Council
Youbide Jallah-Etienne earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Emmanuel College. Youbide comes to GrowHope Foundation with over 18 years of supervisory and collaborative experience as a healthcare professional. Her passion for community healthcare and strategic community development initiatives has been instrumental to the work we do to enrich the quality of community life. Youbide and her husband live in Massachusetts and enjoy spending time with their children.
